All Caught Up... For The First Time Ever

Hello fellow crafters! I am all caught up! it is a weird feeling! I have never been caught up in my life. I attribute it to my new prep system. If you would like to read about that you can read about it here at How to Prepare for a Scrapbook Retreat or Crop and here How I Organize My Photos. I have scrapbooked all the photos I have printed through April 2021. I cleaned and did a little organization of my craft space and thought... Now what? I am not sure I have ever asked that question!

So, today I added all the photos from May into Snapfish and tomorrow I will take some time to double check I want to print all the photos I added. Then I will order the Photos for May and continue my prep process. I just need to leave any of the actual scrapbooking for when I am crafting away from home. I added pictures to an album in Snapfish to start an album each for my son and daughter also. I had a house fire that took everything and my 20 something scrapbooks went poof. I may make an album of their baby photos and firsts. The hard part is finding photos from that time frame. The fire took everything and that included pictures, etc. Digital wasn't a huge thing just then and the site I used for photo storage made a huge shift and I lost almost everything prior to their shift to a new platform. I realize though I need a backup plan. A plan that gives me something to do when I take a girls weekend away to craft and I am caught up or almost caught up with my albums. For the next few weeks or so I will be brainstorming about what to do and will share those thoughts here as I figure it out. I do already know that reverting back to bringing everything with me is NOT going to happen. I won't do that anymore. With back and neck issues it just isn't possible.
So far I have thought of the following ideas:
Taking stamps and prepping die-cuts
Taking specific papers and embellishments to make cards
We all use cards all year long. I could easily get a jump start on those and even Christmas Cards if I want to make them
Taking specific papers and stickers to make borders or base pages
Saving all my scrapbook kits to prep while away from home
Taking the supplies to make mini albums
Doing only one thing on a 3-4 day weekend would get old so it may be a matter of bringing a few different things to stay busy, but not so much that it would be heavy or difficult to transport though.
While I take some time to think about how to approach things when I don't have pictures to scrap I am wondering about the rest of you, has anyone else been caught up on your Scrapbooking or other craft projects? What did you do to keep busy? Let me know on my Facebook Page!
Happy Crafting!
